Leonard Nimoy canta 'La Balada de Bilbo Baggins' [Frikada de la semana]

Hace un par se semanas, Manuel J. Sueiro, de NoSoloRol, dió con este momeno surrealista que merece ser compartido. He estado meditando este tiempo y, aunque quizás no deba ser escuchado, al menos hay que ser consciente de su existencia, por si se prefiere evitarlo. Al menos esa es mi primera impresión al saber de la existencia de este vídeo vídeo del tema ‘La Balada de Bilbo Baggins’, cantada por Leonard ‘Spock’ Nimoy.

Y lo de ‘Spock’ lo he puesto por un motivo bien fundamentado, pues Leonard canta perfectamente caracterizado como el Señor Spock, y rodeado de chavalitas con camisetas de colores y orejas puntiagudas. Atentos a la profundidad (y fidelidad a la novela de Tolkien) de la letra de la balada:

In the middle of the earth in the land of the Shire
lives a brave little hobbit whom we all admire.
With his long wooden pipe,
fuzzy, woolly toes,
he lives in a hobbit-hole and everybody knows him
